Almost Wordless Wednesday
My Dad, Dave, passed away in September 2010 suddenly at only 60 years old and in December 2011 we took a family trip with my mom and brother to lift our spirits. Unfortunately I never got to go on a Disney trip with him (he had been with my mom and bro but never me.) As the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch pulled up and stopped in front of me, I glanced up and saw this. I knew Dad Was with me on this trip.

I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. That must have been a bittersweet trip to take to WDW but what a magical moment to see this "sign". He must be so happy to see you all there together!!
Thanks for hopping with us,

I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. It is nice to have those reminders that our loved ones are always with us no matter where they are!
I am a new follower :)
I am a new follower from the hop. I am so Sorry you lost your dad. Daddies are definitely special! I love that you had that sweet moment. God takes care of us doesn't he! :D
So sweet! When my Grandmother passed away in 2005 we did the same thing. We go back several times a year and every day we are there we always see at least one purple flower (she LOVED purple) somewhere. We always feel like it is her saying, "Hello! I'm with you today!"
Thank you so much for sharing this.
It's so sad that you never had the chance to visit Disney with your dad. I love the story behind this picture! I'm your newest follower!

Aw. Touching. You brought tears to my eyes with this story.
I bought DVC specifically to take my entire family down to WDW with me...but my mom passed away (2008) before I could make it happen. I think of her every time I'm at the Poly because I know how much she would have loved it there.
That is a beautiful story, thanks for sharing.
what a beautiful moment. He was right there with you the whole time
Thanks everyone! I am so glad I could share this moment with you. this last year has been super hard but moments like those I feel so close to him.
Oh, I am so sorry about your dad. I just don't think we can ever be ready for that kind of loss.
What a touching way to have him be there with you in spirit. Thanks so much for sharing!
